Copyright & Takedown Policy
Last updated: June 14, 2026
HiddenFM respects copyright and expects everyone who uploads to do the same. Every upload requires the uploader to confirm they own or control all rights to the content. If you believe a track on HiddenFM infringes your copyright, tell us and we'll act on it.
How to report infringement
The fastest way is the "Report copyright infringement" link on the track's page, which opens a report form. You can also email support@hiddenfm.com. Please include:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you say is being infringed.
- The HiddenFM track URL (or the track's ID) you're reporting.
- Your name, and contact email.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your report is accurate, and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act on their behalf.
- Your electronic or physical signature.
Submitting a knowingly false report may make you liable for damages. If you're not sure whether something infringes your rights, seek legal advice before reporting.
What we do with a report
- We review every report.
- If a track appears to infringe, we disable it so it's no longer streamed or sold.
- We notify the uploader and give them a chance to respond or submit a counter-notice.
- We may withhold or reverse any earnings tied to infringing content.
Counter-notice
If your track was disabled and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, reply to our notice (or email support@hiddenfm.com) with: identification of the disabled track, a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief it was removed by mistake or misidentification, your contact details, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts. We may restore the content if the original complainant doesn't pursue the matter.
Repeat infringers
We disable tracks and terminate the accounts of repeat infringers. Uploading music you don't own or control the rights to is a breach of our Terms of Service and may be illegal.
